    In Pursuit Of is seeking a Message Research Manager to work with a team that develops messaging guidance for In Pursuit Of and aligned organizations. The Message Research Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of qualitative and quantitative public opinion research to aid in the development of messaging.


    • Manage all aspects of qualitative and quantitative public opinion research projects including client interface, background research, study design, execution, analysis, and presentation.
    • Use research findings to craft messaging guidance.
    • Work with aligned organizations to develop strategy and execute communications materials and campaigns.


    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • At least 5-6 years of experience leading or managing public opinion and survey research in a communications, political, or policy environment required
    • Knowledge of current public policy issues and legislation
    • Strong analytical writing skills with the ability to craft messaging for diverse audiences and varied products
    • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
    • Demonstrated interest in developing communications abilities and responsibilities
    • Ability to take initiative, collaborate, and work independently while integrating a high degree of attention to detail and organization
    • Familiarity with and commitment to free-market principles
